We were also concerned about accessibility, as our itinerary required us to move around very often. We searched for a few hotels that fit our requirements, and finally settled for Inn Hotel Hong Kong. Here’s 5 reasons why!

Walking distance from Somerset MRT, Lloyd’s Inn is located right in the heart of Singapore but offers an experience distant from the bustling city life. The rebranding of Lloyd’s Inn was done by FARM in 2014 with regards to their new logo, collaterals and spatial appearance. The new logo represents the individualities of their guest travelers but what FUSSY saw from it was a playful and vibrant revamp, with the Y representing the trees and lush greenery it was surrounded with, and the minimalist L’s representing the clean and simple pathways and structures they had, which also looks the part from a floor plan. Intrigued, we booked ourselves a one-night stay over at their Garden room.

// The underlying idea (of The Alpine Review magazine) is that the pace of everything is accelerating (it’s been called the ‘new normal’) and we all seem to be operating without a map. The Alpine Review magazine intrigued us a few months back at Basheer. We looked at the front cover and saw “Observing the things that matter”. Then the back which shows,
Instrmnt Watch (pronounced as Instrument) is a year long project by the trio from Glasgow which saw a very successful Kickstarter campaign and it garnered more than £90,000 from the community. Kickstarted by Pete Sunderland, Ross Baynham and Thomas Potter, its design boasts of a very sleek and minimalistic look which we are absolutely obsessed about. We have always been on the lookout for watches which are simple, tells the time and the date. That’s all. We didn’t need elements found in a chronograph watch like the metered bezels, rattrapantes and flybacks.
